October News – Are YOU Ready?

The heat is turning on with our 10 Week Body RECOMP Challenge in full swing and it’s not too late to sign up.  Remember, getting healthy and feeling strong goes beyond taking classes to lose weight… I’m sure we’ve all heard the saying that abs are made in the kitchen. 😅 It’s TRUE!  If your goals are to look leaner, get rid of excess fat, build muscles, and feel amazing in your body, then optimize your health by joining the community of awesome students at DRIP in this 10 week challenge!  Setting body re-composition goals can place you on the path to better overall health and physical condition – no scale required!  
Our staff continues to grow at DRIP and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome Elena and Misa to our team!  We love seeing the popularity in Hot Pilates and that’s why we’re going to add one more class to our current schedule.   If you have yet to try POUND, you are truly missing out.  Resistance to change is very normal, you’re not alone.  For many people, maybe including you, change means uncertainty, anxiety, and stress.  But did you know that mixing up your workouts and trying new fitness classes have many benefits, including injury prevention, breaking through a plateau, stimulating muscle groups while building underworked muscles, and avoiding boredom?  Many times, it’s always the least expected class you think you would enjoy and end up loving the most!

10 Week Body Recomp Challenge starts Tuesday, October 1st!!
What is BODY RECOMPOSITION?Body recomposition is a process of losing body fat while simultaneously building muscle, with the goal of changing your body’s composition. 
Body composition refers to the amount of fat and fat-free mass (muscle, bone, and water) your body contains. Recomposition means “to form something again or in a different way,” hence the term “body recomposition.”
Analyzing body composition gives a better understanding of health than other screening methods that only factor in weight and height, such as body mass index (BMI). That’s because your body fat percentage in relation to your muscle mass better reflects your overall wellbeing than just weight or BMI.
Therefore, body recomposition focuses on body composition rather than weight.  Unlike a standard diet, body recomposition is a lifestyle in which fitness and nutrition techniques lead to beneficial changes in your body’s ratio of fat to muscle.
It’s not too late to sign up… EVER (even after the start date)! Get measured and analyzed to get started.
